        Just five years ago we started scrapbooking together.  Today we are owners of a scrapbooking bed and breakfast.  Our dream has become a reality, turning our hobby into a career.   We held our open house event oon March 4, 2006, and hosted our first group of ladies the last weekend of that month.  We had several locals attend our open house event and nearly half of those ladies have already experienced this new venture in scrapbooking and have become repeat guests.  We work hard to ensure you will have a wonderful time at our retreat.  This is YOUR weekend, so come ready to relax and be pampered!

        Calena-  I started scrapbooking 5 years ago and love it.  Melanie was working part time at our local scrapbook store

         and introduced me to it all.  I was hooked!  I tell her she created a "monster."   Memories are so special and I enjoy

         creating albums that tells a story about what is so dear to me.  There is nothing better than preserving memories and

         to me this is the way to do it.    I live here in Paducah with my wonderful husband and our two year old daughter.

            Melanie- After becoming friends with an avid scrapbooker, I too became a scrapbook JUNKIE!  InDec.2005, I had my first experience

         attending a scrapbooking bed and breakfast and decided that this was a venture I would like to pursue.  The closest retreat was over a

         six hour drive and I felt like many scrapbookers in our area were missing out on this awesome experience.  I began to put the wheels in motion

         and asked Calena to be my business partner as  I already had a full time job I couldn't  afford to give up.  I  knew the retreat would require

         day time hours that I didn't have to spare, so I needed someone that was available during the day with scrapbooking experience.

         After three months of planning, remodeling, and painstaking hours dealing with licensing issues and zoning boards we finally opened

        our doors on March 4, 2006.  I had told my husband three years ago that if I could find a way to scrapbook for a living I was going

         to do it.  Look where I am now! We have worked hard to make our retreat home a comfortable, full service scrapbooking facility that you will

         thoroughly enjoy.   We want you to come experience "Cropical Paradise"!
